Ep #6. This week we talk about resources for first gen college students and other students from minority communities with Darrell Balderramma. Darrell serves as the Director of the Office of Undergraduate Research at UTSA.

We discuss Darrell’s college journey, his dissertation, and the fundamental hurdles that keep students from minorities communities from reaching higher ed.

In his current role his office oversees high impact programs, such as TRiO and LSAMP. Throughout his 16 years at UTSA, Darrell has impacted numerous students; including co-host Andrew Baines.
